In the 20th minute, Ksawery Maciejewski had to leave the field with a concussion. After 21 played minutes RSC Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Rudy. Lucjan Ochylski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwidon Zbytniewski having to interfere.
