The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roman Banas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Ziemowit Zabrzeski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orzeł Mokre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ludomil Kinic in the 12th minute. The corner ended in Ludomil Kinic almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hot shot's Mieszko Pilarski did a great save. Roman Banas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominik Dres's late challenge caught a Hot shot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominik Dres helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Dominik Dres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Banas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Zbyszko Blicharz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Orzeł Mokre defense, Roman Banas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszko Blicharz. The Orzeł Mokre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszko Blicharz should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Zabrzeski got free with Mieszko Pilarski in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Orzeł Mokre's Iwo Kaczanek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mieszko Pilarski. Mieszko Pilarski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Zbyszko Blicharz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Banas's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Orzeł Mokre's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Banas came free, but Zbyszko Blicharz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Banas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Blicharz having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iwo Kaczanek to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Ziemowit Zabrzeski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orzeł Mokre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziemowit Zabrzeski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Roman Banas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Banas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zbyszko Blicharz having to make a save. Iwo Kaczanek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Banas got free with Zbyszko Blicharz in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ziemowit Zabrzeski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mieszko Pilarski having to interfere. When Aureliusz Brataniec fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hot shot's protests and gave Aureliusz Brataniec a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hot shot getting a freekick after 95 minutes play.
