Lengenfliess's supporters crossed their fingers, but Przemyslaw Jekot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Janusz Rakiewicz put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kajetan Wallach. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antoni Kasprzak was the one to do the kick off. Barnaba Walicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Cyryl Robak made a huge save. Kajetan Wallach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Rakiewicz in the 64th minute of the match. Przemyslaw Jekot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnaba Walickis short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Cyryl Robak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Przemyslaw Jekot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antoni Kasprzak might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cyryl Robak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antoni Kasprzak ran back to his position shaking his head. Przemyslaw Jekot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kajetan Wallach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Fryderyk Cisek mouthed his way into the referee's book. When the referee ended the match the Lengenfliess players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
