Trzebnik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boston Celtics the free kick. The supporters of Boston Celtics booed when Trzebnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Siekierski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michal Gleba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Kempski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radoslaw Wojtowicz during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Trzebnik got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Wojtowicz. Florian Grabski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Pawelczyk having to interfere. In the 20th minute of the match, Teobald Haskiewicz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Grzegorz Pawelczyk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Boruc Biegun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigiusz Pozorski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Michal Gleba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Remigiusz Pozorski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Boston Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Haskiewicz came free, but Grzegorz Pawelczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Marek Mudry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marek Mudry kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Trzebnik's zone, Franciszek Makarewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michal Gleba came out of the goal and Franciszek Makarewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florian Grabski in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Grzegorz Pawelczyk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Trzebnik getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Radoslaw Wojtowicz hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Remigiusz Pozorski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michal Gleba. Trzebnik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigiusz Pozorski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigiusz Pozorski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Grzegorz Pawelczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobald Haskiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Florian Grabski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobald Haskiewicz took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grzegorz Pawelczyk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Haskiewicz in the 64th minute of play forced Boston Celtics's goalkeeper Grzegorz Pawelczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grzegorz Pawelczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Wojtowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Radoslaw Wojtowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Haskiewicz in the 70th minute of play forced Boston Celtics's goalkeeper Grzegorz Pawelczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Teobald Haskiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trzebnik's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobald Haskiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grzegorz Pawelczyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franciszek Makarewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trzebnik's Radoslaw Wojtowicz got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Radoslaw Wojtowicz off the ground. In the 87th match minute, Trzebnik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslaw Wojtowicz to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Boston Celtics's Franciszek Makarewicz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide.
