Zenon Serwach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Siembab in the 32nd minute of the match. Maksymilian Arbaszewski scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zenon Serwach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomasz Przybyciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Wisła Kraków getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Remigiusz Raszek hit a great ball. Lech Kolano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Wisła Kraków were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 67th minute Zbyszek Naskrent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witold Juzda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszek Naskrent in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Witold Juzda saved Wisła Kraków from getting behind. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Zbyszek Naskrent sped through Wisła Kraków's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Witold Juzda. Tomasz Przybyciel scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Witold Juzda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Maksymilian Arbaszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Tomasz Przybyciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witold Juzda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
