The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, SuSv 09 Beuthen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Lizewski to maneuver through the defense. Ryszard Petka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Cupial in the 23rd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Izydor Cupial had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryszard Petka. Rützenhagen SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Izydor Cupial was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 32 minutes of play, SuSv 09 Beuthen's Izydor Cupial made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ryszard Petka was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, SuSv 09 Beuthen's Dobromir Gacek got control of the ball when Wiktor Jaworski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rützenhagen SA's zone, Izydor Cupial stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryszard Petka came out of the goal and Izydor Cupial tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaroslaw Psotka's late challenge caught a SuSv 09 Beuthen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaroslaw Psotka helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Rützenhagen SA got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Psotka. Jaroslaw Psotka hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute SuSv 09 Beuthen were awarded a corner. Stefan Poling went to the cornerflag to take it. SuSv 09 Beuthen's Stefan Poling was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ryszard Petka in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Rützenhagen SA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SuSv 09 Beuthen were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zbyszek Wojno made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rützenhagen SA's zone, Dominik Wejta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryszard Petka came out of the goal and Dominik Wejta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Izydor Cupial received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ryszard Petka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Izydor Cupial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Petka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Petka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Cupial, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbyszek Wojno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryszard Petka came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by SuSv 09 Beuthen's Dominik Wejta. But to his dismay, Dominik Wejta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Radowit Lizewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Izydor Cupial recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ryszard Petka. Izydor Cupial showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Izydor Cupial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Petka having to interfere. Dobromir Gacek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Cielencki in the 95th minute of play. The Rützenhagen SA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SuSv 09 Beuthen's performance. The match ended with a win for SuSv 09 Beuthen.
