Karol Mondrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute Pawel Pankowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Gardocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, GKS Bełchatów's Karol Glogowski got a free kick in the 13th minute. Rafal Skoroda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pawel Pankowski in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwo Gardocki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pawel Pankowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwo Gardocki having to interfere. A hard shot 26 in the game by Beniamin Falkiewicz from a close distance when the talented Iwo Gardocki managed to make a qualified save. GKS Bełchatów's players were relieved. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pawel Pankowski to strike the kick off in the second half. GKS Bełchatów's Iwo Gardocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Pankowski in the 51st minute of play. Pawel Pankowski struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Iwo Gardocki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gródek. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by GKS Bełchatów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bogumil Dabrowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Gródek's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gródek's Bogumil Dabrowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Iwo Gardocki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, GKS Bełchatów's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Pankowski came free, but Iwo Gardocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gródek's Beniamin Falkiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GKS Bełchatów's Iwo Gardocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Pankowski in the 62nd minute of play. The referee ignored GKS Bełchatów's protests and gave Karol Glogowski a yellow card for diving instead. Bogumil Dabrowski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Beniamin Falkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
