The referee ignored Warszawa Ursynów's protests and gave Radomir Piwowarski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Warszawa Ursynów getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Radomir Piwowarski hit a great ball. Stanislaw Odachowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 44th minute Wincenty Podwojski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Werra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Warszawa Ursynów defense, Wincenty Podwojski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Werra. The Warszawa Ursynów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Werra should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Iwan Werra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute, Stefan Kolba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stanislaw Odachowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iwan Werra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaskolki. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jaskolki supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jaskolki would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
