But to his dismay, Olaf Majkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Skrzeszew's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unia Tarnów the free kick. Ignacy Ranowiecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Zecman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacy Ranowiecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Gdaniec in the 98th minute of the match. Unia Tarnów's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
