Cyprian Lichucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincenty Duda having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tottenham Hotspur's zone, Iwo Zbydniewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincenty Duda came out of the goal and Iwo Zbydniewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jakub Dembowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Wincenty Duda made a huge save. If Mieszko Parajewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Jakub Dembowski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tottenham Hotspur's Wincenty Duda. Wincenty Duda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezary Mazierz during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Tottenham Hotspur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincenty Duda should have stopped the shot.
