The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Rykaczewski in the 4th minute of play forced Krwony SA's goalkeeper Pawel Resel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugeniusz Piechocki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawel Resel having to interfere. Jan Bondel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonard Rykaczewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pawel Resel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Rykaczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krwony SA's Jan Bondel got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wincent Cichocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Bondel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jan Bondel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wincent Cichocki was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Wincent Cichocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Bondel in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Tolko's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Bondel came free, but Wincent Cichocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Jaroslaw Zacharzewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tolko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslaw Zacharzewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilbert Sidorowicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pawel Resel. That made the score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jan Bondel made the kick off in the second half. Jan Bondel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Krwony SA booed when Tolko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Sidorowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes Tolko got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Zacharzewski. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Wlodzimierz Czaplicki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wincent Cichocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Bondel, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Wlodzimierz Czaplicki struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Wincent Cichocki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krwony SA. Pawel Resel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Rykaczewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 80 minutes, Zachary Grocholski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Krwony SA and the Tolko players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tolko's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Rykaczewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pawel Resel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Krwony SA's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Rykaczewski came free, but Pawel Resel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugeniusz Piechocki struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Pawel Resel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tolko. Krwony SA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
