After 12 minutes, Kacper Beninda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boratynszczyzna SA and the Marianek players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kacper Beninda hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Kazimierz Joks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Niemoj in the 15th minute of the match. Cyprian Niezywy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kazimierz Joks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dariusz Percha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wasyl Harbaszewski in the 20th minute. Marianek's Kazimierz Joks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Niemoj in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cyprian Niezywy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kazimierz Joks was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Marianek's Bogdan Rybak got a free kick in the 26th minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boguslaw Niemoj to make the kick off. Wasyl Harbaszewski struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Dariusz Percha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marianek. Kazimierz Joks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boguslaw Niemoj in the 52nd minute. If Korneliusz Wiatrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute, Boguslaw Niemoj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boratynszczyzna SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Cyprian Niezywy struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. But to his dismay, Wasyl Harbaszewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With his leg Kazimierz Joks managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Boratynszczyzna SA's Cyprian Niezywy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Marianek's zone, Korneliusz Wiatrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kazimierz Joks came out of the goal and Korneliusz Wiatrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Marianek players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
