In the 17th minute Wlodzimierz Golota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Czerner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Czerner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Golota, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wlodzimierz Golota to make the kick off. Karol Brzonkala got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Gizy getting a freekick after 56 minutes play.
