FC Płock's Jan Brytan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fc Mielec. Kajetan Falkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Gongola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kajetan Falkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ksawery Gongola, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes of play, FC Płock's Leonard Juzda made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kajetan Falkiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Ciupierdo in the 18th minute of play forced FC Płock's goalkeeper Ignacy Budacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ksawery Gongola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kajetan Falkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Jan Brytan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Patryk Ciupierdo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Płock's Ignacy Budacz. Ignacy Budacz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aleksander Pietrowski hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Fc Mielec's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Ksawery Gongola scored to the left of an out of position Kajetan Falkiewicz, making the score, 2-1. Ignacy Budacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patryk Ciupierdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patryk Ciupierdo to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnaba Walczak got free with Ignacy Budacz in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the match, FC Płock's goalkeeper Ignacy Budacz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boguslaw Loncki. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Fc Mielec:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Płock:s goal. In the 60th minute of the match, Patryk Ciupierdo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ignacy Budacz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iwan Bartochowski during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iwan Bartochowski hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Barnaba Walczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacy Budacz having to interfere. Barnaba Walczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacy Budacz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barnaba Walczak ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute Patryk Ciupierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Budacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Płock's Ksawery Gongola got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Patryk Ciupierdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacy Budacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Ciupierdo in the 85th minute of play. Kajetan Falkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Juzda in the 87th minute of the match. FC Płock's Ignacy Budacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patryk Ciupierdo in the 88th minute of play. If Leonard Juzda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
