After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Gilbert Kiewra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaczyska's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Kiewra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdzislaw Pietrowiak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leszek Topolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Zdzislaw Pietrowiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Kiewra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdzislaw Pietrowiak was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, Gaczyska's goalkeeper Jakub Moizuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Parzysz. Jakub Moizuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GROM Leśno. After a defensive mix-up in GROM Leśno's zone, Gilbert Kiewra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Pietrowiak came out of the goal and Gilbert Kiewra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Leszek Topolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wladyslaw Tarasek to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilbert Kiewras short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Zdzislaw Pietrowiak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of GROM Leśno booed when Gaczyska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szczepan Praski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, GROM Leśno's Barnaba Lizewski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 92nd minute, Szczepan Praski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gaczyska fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gilbert Kiewra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Zdzislaw Pietrowiak when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
