The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Juliusz Napierkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jerzy Czerner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edward Zerde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jerzy Czerner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Ferfecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zbigniew Domamir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Zachemski, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Zbigniew Domamir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Glapiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylwester Gieraltowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jerzy Czerner. Jabłoń FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tymoteusz Zachemski might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbigniew Domamir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tymoteusz Zachemski ran back to his position shaking his head. Zygmunt Walczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Norbert Ferfecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Czerner having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Tymoteusz Zachemski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jabłoń FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tymoteusz Zachemski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tymoteusz Zachemski struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Zbigniew Domamir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jabłoń FC. When Edward Zerde fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leszczyna's protests and gave Edward Zerde a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Leszczyna got a freekick which was hit by Edward Zerde. Zbigniew Domamir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Glapiak in the 43rd minute of play. Ignacy Penc kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Juliusz Napierkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jerzy Czerner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Ryszard Glapiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jabłoń FC and the Leszczyna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jabłoń FC's goalkeeper Jerzy Czerner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lech Poteralski during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jerzy Czerner had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Sylwester Gieraltowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 71st minute, Ignacy Penc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tymoteusz Zachemski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Ferfecki in the 80th minute of play forced Jabłoń FC's goalkeeper Jerzy Czerner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Januszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Norbert Ferfecki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leszczyna's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Ferfecki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Czerner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 87 played minutes Jabłoń FC got a freekick which was hit by Tymoteusz Zachemski. If Norbert Ferfecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juliusz Napierkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Czerner having to interfere. Marian Grabski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, one of Jabłoń FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 98 minutes into the match, Juliusz Napierkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerzy Czerner. Jabłoń FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juliusz Napierkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leszczyna fully deserved thier win.
