Roch Budarz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tolek Skrzypiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Hugon Sroka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1.FC Katowice and the Soból SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, 1.FC Katowice's Hugon Sroka got a free kick in the 18th minute. Bogdan Urban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Gamza having to interfere. When Roch Budarz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Soból SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Budarz couldn't finish the play. Soból SA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dawid Rakowicz in the 43rd minute. The corner ended in Dawid Rakowicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 1.FC Katowice's Tolek Skrzypiec did a great save. If Witalis Mocko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Zachary Kaczeniak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Marek Gamza made a huge save. Zachary Kaczeniak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, 1.FC Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Mocko came free, but Tolek Skrzypiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachary Kaczeniak struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Marek Gamza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1.FC Katowice. If Zachary Kaczeniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marek Gamza stood somewhat misplaced when Zachary Kaczeniak came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 81 minute. 1.FC Katowice's Bogdan Urban got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zachary Kaczeniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Roch Budarz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
