After having played for 6 minutes, Franciszek Hryc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grudzëndz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franciszek Hryc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franciszek Hryc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Waldemar Bierfass made a huge save. In the 10thth minute of the game Artur Niedzwiecki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Henrysin SSA's Waldemar Bierfass was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remigiusz Fleischer hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Grudzëndz's Franciszek Hryc got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobiasz Banan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomil Galagan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomil Galagan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tobiasz Banan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Piotr Chlapowski made a precise shot to the right of Tobiasz Banan. Grudzëndz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Henrysin SSA were furious when Krzysztof Giec was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 27th minute, one of Henrysin SSA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Henrysin SSA. The goalkeeper, Waldemar Bierfass, was totally fooled by Grudzëndz's Andrzej Bryk, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Niedzwiecki in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldemar Bierfass prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grudzëndz's Franciszek Hryc suffered a fractured collar bone after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 39 minutes, Leon Zatorski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Henrysin SSA and the Grudzëndz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, one of Henrysin SSA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Henrysin SSA. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Galagan in the 45th minute of play forced Grudzëndz's goalkeeper Tobiasz Banan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Niedzwiecki made a kick off. Artur Niedzwiecki's late challenge caught a Henrysin SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Niedzwiecki helped the player get up and apologised. Artur Niedzwiecki kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Tobiasz Banan came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Henrysin SSA's Ludomil Galagan. But to his dismay, Ludomil Galagan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Artur Niedzwiecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grudzëndz's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Ludomil Galagan scored to the left of an out of position Tobiasz Banan, making the score, 2-3. Ludomil Galagan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Tobiasz Banan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kazimierz Topolski hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Tobiasz Banan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomil Galagan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Waclaw Nakonieczny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigiusz Fleischer's late challenge caught a Grudzëndz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigiusz Fleischer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Remigiusz Fleischer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Henrysin SSA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Henrysin SSA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
