In the 7th minute Radowit Bienienda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Harasimowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Radowit Bienienda took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tolek Harasimowicz to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Kornaszewski in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stasio Miodek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tolek Harasimowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Bienienda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Radowit Bienienda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tolek Harasimowicz, passed just outside the right post. Gwidon Cetnar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stasio Miodek having to interfere. Stasio Miodek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Kornaszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 35 minutes of play, Bytków City's Stefan Kornaszewski made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stasio Miodek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Bytków City were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
