Spectators: 7170 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 100) FC Piłat's Mieszko Czermak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 played minutes FC Piłat got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Rukszcz. 16 minutes into the match, Mieszko Czermak notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of TheGrass Lipno's Zenon Gargasz. Zenon Gargasz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Waclaw Cieslak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Piłat's Ksawery Zima suffered a concussion in the 21st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. FC Piłat's Witomir Glogowski was substituted for Ksawery Zima. Szymon Gieraltowski kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Wojciech Zacharczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waclaw Cieslak struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Zenon Gargasz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Piłat. After a defensive mix-up in TheGrass Lipno's zone, Mieszko Puch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenon Gargasz came out of the goal and Mieszko Puch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zenon Gargasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mieszko Czermak in the 40th minute of play. If Mieszko Czermak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wojciech Zacharczyk made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Piłat booed when TheGrass Lipno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wojciech Zacharczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, one of TheGrass Lipno:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TheGrass Lipno. 68 minutes into the match, FC Piłat's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Zacharczyk came free, but Waldemar Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Waclaw Cieslak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zenon Gargasz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Waclaw Cieslak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, TheGrass Lipno's goalkeeper Zenon Gargasz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mieszko Czermak. After 81 minutes, Waclaw Cieslak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Piłat and the TheGrass Lipno players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Piłat's Waclaw Cieslak got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Waclaw Cieslak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ksawery Japola's late challenge caught a FC Piłat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ksawery Japola helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Piłat booed when TheGrass Lipno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ksawery Japola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waclaw Cieslak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Zenon Gargasz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. FC Piłat were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after TheGrass Lipno's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mieszko Czermak took the corner. FC Piłat's Mieszko Czermak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zenon Gargasz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 95 minutes, Waclaw Cieslak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Piłat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waclaw Cieslak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Piłat's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
