But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszek Damaski couldn't finish the play. In the 17thth minute of the game Zbyszek Damaski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kubki's Gilbert Mruk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zbyszek Damaski scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilbert Mruk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacy Sanocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Piechocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyryl Piechocki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ignacy Sanocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Kubki getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ludomil Przybylo hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Fabian Bulkiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilbert Mruk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Bulkiewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Kubki's goalkeeper Gilbert Mruk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbyszek Damaski. When Gustaw Czech fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS Devils Katowice's protests and gave Gustaw Czech a yellow card for diving instead. Ignacy Sanocki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ludomil Przybylo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludomil Przybylo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ludomil Przybylo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute.
