Wyromiejki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartosz Krzynowek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Witalis Dziechciowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Napoleon Arnista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Bejger in the 23rd minute of play. Witalis Dziechciowski struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Napoleon Arnista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grunwald. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fryderyk Bejger in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Napoleon Arnista saved Wyromiejki from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Jaroslaw Nuszkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Grunwald's Fryderyk Bejger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Napoleon Arnista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartosz Krzynowek got free with Jedrzej Bejrut in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wlodzimierz Zworski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Grunwald would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
