Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roman Sala made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute Roman Sala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tymoteusz Klucznik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konstanty Gdowik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Cebula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Wit Wojtowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PGE GKS Bełchatów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wit Wojtowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Gwidon Okraszewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PGE GKS Bełchatów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogoń Połące the free kick. The supporters of Pogoń Połące booed when PGE GKS Bełchatów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Okraszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konstanty Gdowik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Wojtowicz in the 26th minute of play. If Roman Sala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Wit Wojtowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. PGE GKS Bełchatów's supporters rose to their feet, but Wit Wojtowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstanty Gdowik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herbert Filipkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Filipkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes PGE GKS Bełchatów got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Filipkowski. In the 39th minute of the match Tobiasz Penczkowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tymoteusz Klucznik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tymoteusz Klucznik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Sala, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Herbert Pleban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tymoteusz Klucznik having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kajetan Cebula to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, PGE GKS Bełchatów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wit Wojtowicz to maneuver through the defense. Roman Sala scored 1-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tymoteusz Klucznik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roman Labus's late challenge caught a Pogoń Połące's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Labus helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PGE GKS Bełchatów's Roman Labus got a free kick in the 59th minute. Roman Sala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tymoteusz Klucznik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute of the match Gilbert Rasimowicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tymoteusz Klucznik skillfully saved the ball. Kajetan Cebula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Konstanty Gdowik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wit Wojtowicz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 69th playminute. Konstanty Gdowik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wit Wojtowicz in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Wincent Ludzia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tymoteusz Klucznik was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. PGE GKS Bełchatów's Kajetan Cebula got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wit Wojtowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wincent Ludzia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilbert Rasimowicz's late challenge caught a PGE GKS Bełchatów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilbert Rasimowicz helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pogoń Połące fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Konstanty Gdowik, was totally fooled by PGE GKS Bełchatów's Bogdan Degutis, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
