The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Jaroslaw Ziemniak came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the KS Granica Chełm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaroslaw Ziemniak couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Fortuna Gostyń's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Kensicki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 11 in the game by Jaroslaw Ziemniak from a close distance when the talented Jaroslaw Kensicki managed to make a qualified save. KS Fortuna Gostyń's players were relieved. Emil Gecionis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Warka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaroslaw Ziemniak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jaroslaw Kensicki came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaroslaw Ziemniak slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. Kacper Walicki scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Gecionis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wawrzyniec Jeziorkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslaw Kensicki having to interfere. In the 31st minute Jaroslaw Ziemniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Kensicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Jaroslaw Ziemniak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Fortuna Gostyń's Jaroslaw Kensicki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 played minutes KS Fortuna Gostyń got a freekick which was hit by Kacper Walicki. In the 38th minute of the match Roland Marchefka sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaroslaw Kensicki skillfully saved the ball. In the 40th minute KS Granica Chełm were awarded a corner. Patryk Pazura went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Patryk Pazura got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jaroslaw Kensicki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 47 minutes in the game, Jaroslaw Ziemniak fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jaroslaw Kensicki having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kacper Walicki made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaroslaw Ziemniak in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaroslaw Kensicki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When KS Granica Chełm's Jaroslaw Ziemniak in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Fortuna Gostyń's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in KS Fortuna Gostyń's zone, Roland Marchefka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslaw Kensicki came out of the goal and Roland Marchefka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute Jaroslaw Ziemniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Kensicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in KS Fortuna Gostyń's zone, Milosz Gendolla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslaw Kensicki came out of the goal and Milosz Gendolla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jaroslaw Ziemniak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaroslaw Kensicki was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. KS Granica Chełm's Jaroslaw Ziemniak got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Wawrzyniec Jeziorkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KS Fortuna Gostyń's Klement Piesciuk got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emil Gecionis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Walicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Aleksander Czysty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaroslaw Kensicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Ziemniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The supporters of KS Granica Chełm booed when KS Fortuna Gostyń was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Piesciuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the KS Granica Chełm players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
