After 2 played minutes Zerdzina SA got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Walentowicz. Klement Chodzinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miroslaw Rojewski's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Miroslaw Rojewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klement Chodzinski was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Konstanty Cieliczka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Dejo in the 9th minute of the match. Zerdzina SA's Bernard Dejo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslaw Rojewski in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klement Chodzinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Konstanty Radziszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Miroslaw Rojewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zygmunt Zawada took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klement Chodzinski. Klement Chodzinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to GKS Pogoń Rogów getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Konstanty Radziszewski hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zerdzina SA's zone, Zygmunt Zawada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klement Chodzinski came out of the goal and Zygmunt Zawada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, Zerdzina SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Kostka to maneuver through the defense. Klement Chodzinski made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Zygmunt Zawada sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 47 minutes, Miroslaw Rojewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Pogoń Rogów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miroslaw Rojewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernard Dejo made a kick off. Zygmunt Zawada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miroslaw Rojewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Klement Chodzinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernard Raschke hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Miroslaw Rojewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zerdzina SA's Klement Chodzinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Zawada in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zerdzina SA's Tobiasz Ochabski got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Miroslaw Rojewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Klement Chodzinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zygmunt Zawada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klement Chodzinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Soszka in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that GKS Pogoń Rogów were the better team. GKS Pogoń Rogów's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
