After a defensive mix-up in Warszawa's zone, Czeslaw Wolnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachary Giertych came out of the goal and Czeslaw Wolnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Czeslaw Wolnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zachary Giertych tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Walery Majerowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zachary Giertych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Majerowicz in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Furgal came free, but Zachary Giertych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogumil Klawki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Walery Majerowicz made a precise shot to the right of Zachary Giertych. Warszawa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bytomianka Bytom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Czeslaw Wolnik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Majerowicz came free, but Zachary Giertych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachary Giertych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Majerowicz in the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walery Majerowicz was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bogumil Klawki notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Bytomianka Bytom's Julian Dziedelonis. The supporters of Bytomianka Bytom booed when Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Patrylo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Czeslaw Wolnik got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Czeslaw Wolnik, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 73 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zachary Giertych was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Walery Majerowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. In the 91st match minute, Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Klawki to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Walery Majerowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachary Giertych was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Bytomianka Bytom played a much better game than Warszawa and deserved their victory. The Warszawa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
