If Piotr Mockiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15thth minute of the game Tymoteusz Wojton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JKS Czarni 1910 Jasło's Bogdan Blicharz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwan Marchefka got free with Bogdan Blicharz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ksawery Maziarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piotr Mockiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Izydor Osowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mertensdorf defense, Piotr Mockiewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Izydor Osowski. The Mertensdorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Izydor Osowski should have stopped the shot. When Ksawery Maziarz came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the JKS Czarni 1910 Jasło fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ksawery Maziarz couldn't finish the play. If Bernard Badanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mieszko Pachucki's late challenge caught a Mertensdorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Bernard Badanowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Blicharz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Piotr Mockiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. JKS Czarni 1910 Jasło's supporters rose to their feet, but Piotr Mockiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Izydor Osowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Izydor Osowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee ignored JKS Czarni 1910 Jasło's protests and gave Bogumil Mikulski a yellow card for diving instead. Iwan Marchefka charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iwan Marchefka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mertensdorf getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Iwan Marchefka hit a great ball. Bogdan Blicharz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwan Marchefka's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, JKS Czarni 1910 Jasło's goal looked a bit too open when Iwan Marchefka came free, but Bogdan Blicharz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ksawery Maziarz struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Izydor Osowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JKS Czarni 1910 Jasło. When the referee blew the final whistle, Mertensdorf could leave the field as winners, despite JKS Czarni 1910 Jasło having more of the ball for most of the match.
