Roch Chojnacki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rem Blonk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Roch Chojnacki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rem Blonk was the one to do the kick off. Roch Chojnacki came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by KATOWICE GKS's Jakub Januszewski. But to his dismay, Jakub Januszewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. KS Swistczyna's Roch Chojnacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakub Januszewski in the 60th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, KS Swistczyna's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Januszewski came free, but Roch Chojnacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes, Beniamin Prokowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Swistczyna and the KATOWICE GKS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute of the match Norbert Poniewaz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roch Chojnacki skillfully saved the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Rem Blonk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Roch Chojnacki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
