Sanok Galaxy's Herbert Kocieniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Chojnacki in the 26th minute of play. If Lucjan Waselewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute of the match Olaf Jenkot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herbert Kocieniewski skillfully saved the ball. Herbert Kocieniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Chojnacki in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Szymon Dyczkowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucjan Waselewicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Herbert Kocieniewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucjan Waselewicz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 51st minute. Roland Przebendowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslaw Banach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miroslaw Banach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute Szymon Dyczkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Przebendowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miroslaw Banach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Przebendowski having to interfere. Witold Raszek's late challenge caught a Sanok Galaxy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Witold Raszek helped the player get up and apologised. Witold Raszek kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Witalis Chojnacki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland Przebendowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Szymon Dyczkowski's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
