Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucjan Waselewicz kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Lucjan Waselewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zenon Raflewski was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Reszecie's Roland Przebendowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Reszecie from getting a goal against them. Zenon Raflewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucjan Waselewicz went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Witomir Tepper came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roland Przebendowski could save by the left post. Emil Gdowik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 26 minutes on the clock, Szymon Marek commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Gniazdków:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Reszecie:s goal. The referee gave Reszecie a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Witold Raszek, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gniazdków's Zenon Raflewski. 1-2. In the 30th minute, Wincenty Lichorobiec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Reszecie getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Szczepan Gruchacz hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Wincenty Lichorobiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Przebendowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Gniazdków's Wincenty Lichorobiec dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Wincenty Lichorobiecs short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Roland Przebendowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Zenon Hoffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wincenty Lichorobiec to make the kick off. Roland Przebendowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wincenty Lichorobiec's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. If Zenon Hoffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gniazdków made a substitution. Fryderyk Betonowy replaced Wasyl Wachna. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zenon Hoffman in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Przebendowski saved Reszecie from getting behind. Zenon Hoffman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roland Przebendowski having to make a save. Roland Przebendowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Lichorobiec in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Emil Gdowik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reszecie and the Gniazdków players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Emil Gdowik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Zenon Hoffman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gniazdków's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenon Hoffman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Przebendowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gniazdków fully deserved thier win.
