He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Podbon reached it. Wincenty Wykowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Juliusz Cielencki made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Dubidze SA's Wlodzimierz Bejrut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Roman Gaszynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedykt Sliwinski having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Wincenty Wykowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juliusz Cielencki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Dubidze SA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
