Marcin Kaider might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norbert Zacharek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcin Kaider ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Marcin Kaider sped through Smolareczki's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norbert Zacharek. Bartosz Niemoj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Kasprzak in the 18th minute of the match. Bartosz Niemoj didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Smolareczki's Leszek Kasprzak shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Smolareczki's Aureliusz Cetnar got a free kick in the 25th minute. Marcin Kaider made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 31stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Norbert Zacharek would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Smolareczki's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Lech Henryk scored to the left of an out of position Norbert Zacharek, making the score, 2-1. In the 38th minute of the match, Marcin Kaider got a very nice opportunity to score, but Norbert Zacharek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 40 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Marcin Kaider sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Zacharek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Bartosz Niemoj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Kasprzak in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Marcin Kaider managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcin Kaider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Zacharek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 49 minutes into the match, Smolareczki's goalkeeper Norbert Zacharek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcin Kaider. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Marcin Kaider made the kick off in the second half. Zachariasz Lichniak kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcin Kaider in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Zacharek saved Smolareczki from getting behind. Norbert Przybylo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Norbert Zacharek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zagłębie Sosnowiec. Marcin Kaider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Norbert Zacharek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Smolareczki got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Gleba. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Marcin Kaider sped through Smolareczki's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norbert Zacharek. Jakub Gleba's late challenge caught a Zagłębie Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakub Gleba helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zagłębie Sosnowiec booed when Smolareczki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Gleba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Lech Henryk got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Marcin Kaider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zagłębie Sosnowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Bartosz Niemoj proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Zagłębie Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. When Norbert Przybylo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zagłębie Sosnowiec's protests and gave Norbert Przybylo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Norbert Przybylo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
