Kryspin Biegun might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanislaw Haszczak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kryspin Biegun ran back to his position shaking his head. Stanislaw Haszczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kryspin Biegun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Kryspin Biegun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislaw Haszczak was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kryspin Biegun to make the kick off. Fryszerka's Ryszard Wietrzychowski got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wywóz's Roch Miazga got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, Fryszerka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacy Wysocki to maneuver through the defense. If Kryspin Biegun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kryspin Biegun in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislaw Haszczak saved Wywóz from getting behind. Ryszard Wietrzychowski scored 2-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanislaw Haszczak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
