Zbyszek Jandryca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Lichorobiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Sylwester Cupial came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC Grochów Warszawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylwester Cupial couldn't finish the play. Lech Basinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawel Fujara having to interfere.

Sylwester Cupial showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Lech Basinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. If Walery Trzaskoma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Grochów Warszawa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
