The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwidon Cupial in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszko Pieknik saved DABIE WROCLAW from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomir Wicherek got free with Adam Jaroszewicz in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DABIE WROCLAW's Daniel Lemiesz got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Franciszek Wlodyga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of DABIE WROCLAW's Zbyszko Pieknik. Zbyszko Pieknik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gwidon Cupial received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Zbyszko Pieknik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Cupial, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of DABIE WROCLAW:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Polesie SSA:s goal. The referee gave Polesie SSA a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Szczepan Chuchro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of DABIE WROCLAW's Zbyszko Pieknik. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Lemiesz was the one to do the kick off. 68 minutes into the match, Polesie SSA's Gwidon Cupial sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zbyszko Pieknik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Polesie SSA's Gwidon Cupial ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zbyszko Pieknik. Zbyszko Pieknik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 74th match minute, DABIE WROCLAW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fryderyk Bochynski to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Szczepan Chuchro couldn't finish the play. Zbyszko Pieknik made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Franciszek Wlodyga sent off a good shot on target. Gwidon Cupial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Pieknik having to interfere. Bartlomiej Czarnecki kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match.
