In the 12thth minute of the game Kajetan Pilipiec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS KATOWICE's Leonard Jandryca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute Miroslaw Czerniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Jandryca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomil Dylla hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Slawomir Harendarski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leonard Jandryca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Czerniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Zdzislaw Furgat managed to get in a good position for a shot. GKS KATOWICE's supporters rose to their feet, but Zdzislaw Furgat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wlodzimierz Brudzisz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wlodzimierz Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Serwach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartosz Lagiewniki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Leonard Jandryca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kajetan Pilipiec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Jandryca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslaw Czerniak in the 32nd minute of play. Zdzislaw Furgat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, GKS KATOWICE's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Bierfass came free, but Leonard Jandryca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miroslaw Czerniak to make the kick off. Leonard Jandryca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kajetan Pilipiec went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Olgierd Tarka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Wlodzimierz Brudzisz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Olgierd Tarka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS KATOWICE and the Racibury FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Racibury FC booed when GKS KATOWICE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Tarka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the last second Leonard Jandryca throw himself and got hold of the ball when Miroslaw Czerniak in the 63rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Bierfass in the 65th minute of play forced GKS KATOWICE's goalkeeper Leonard Jandryca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogumil Serwach charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogumil Serwach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Racibury FC booed when GKS KATOWICE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogumil Serwach didn't get a good kick on the ball. GKS KATOWICE's Leonard Jandryca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save GKS KATOWICE from getting a goal against them. During the 81st minute of the match Olgierd Tarka completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Olgierd Tarka a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When Zenon Dziuma fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS KATOWICE's protests and gave Zenon Dziuma a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GKS KATOWICE getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Zenon Dziuma hit a great ball. Kajetan Pilipiec's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Leonard Jandryca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leonard Jandryca had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Slawomir Harendarski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 87th minute, Slawomir Harendarski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racibury FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 92nd minute, Miroslaw Czerniak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslaw Czerniak in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Jandryca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GKS KATOWICE's Leonard Jandryca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Czerniak in the 100th minute of play. The GKS KATOWICE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Racibury FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Racibury FC.
