After a defensive mix-up in MKS Tarnovia's zone, Waldemar Czerniejewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grzegorz Jarmulowicz came out of the goal and Waldemar Czerniejewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute Hieronim Niezywy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Makomaski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszek Porajewski kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Tomasz Danisiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zbyszko Makomaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Danisiewicz in the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, MKS Tarnovia's Grzegorz Jarmulowicz got control of the ball when Waldemar Czerniejewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, MKS Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Chazon came free, but Grzegorz Jarmulowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbyszko Makomaski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Tadeusz Mnich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grzegorz Jarmulowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Chazon in the 59th minute of play. Tomasz Danisiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Zbyszko Makomaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarasiuki's Fabian Chazon got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MKS Tarnovia's Hieronim Niezywy got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Zbyszko Makomaski managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when MKS Tarnovia's Hieronim Niezywy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Tarasiuki's zone, Tomasz Danisiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 93 minutes, Kazimierz Domarecki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarasiuki and the MKS Tarnovia players grew even worse after the yellow card.
