After a defensive mix-up in Nejdyki's zone, Franciszek Madajczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wawrzyniec Turek came out of the goal and Franciszek Madajczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Leon Komanski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobald Ligas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Czarnecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boguslaw Czarnecki took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobald Ligas. Teobald Ligas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Franciszek Madajczyk came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Melsztyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franciszek Madajczyk couldn't finish the play. Zula Jaroch got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Wawrzyniec Turek handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Nejdyki's Leon Komanski got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jurand Parajewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nejdyki's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurand Parajewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobald Ligas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 40 played minutes Melsztyn got a freekick which was hit by Tymoteusz Magdziarz. Tadeusz Naumowicz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teobald Ligas. Melsztyn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Franciszek Madajczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes in the game, Zula Jaroch fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wawrzyniec Turek having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Zula Jaroch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melsztyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Zula Jaroch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nejdyki fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Zula Jaroch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Turek having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nejdyki's Jurand Parajewski got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franciszek Madajczyk in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wawrzyniec Turek saved Nejdyki from getting behind. Boguslaw Czarnecki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Teobald Ligas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Nejdyki supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nejdyki would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
