After a rather tough play, Spójnia Zielona Góra's Jakub Rosiewicz got a free kick in the 19th minute. Iwan Marchlewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Edmund Bochynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Perła Lublin getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jaroslaw Rozanski hit a great ball. In the 41st minute of the match Remigiusz Gongolewicz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tolek Miazga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Kazanowski in the 45th minute of play forced Perła Lublin's goalkeeper Tolek Miazga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spójnia Zielona Góra's Edmund Bochynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Lipinski in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Marian Anszczak kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Remigiusz Gongolewicz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tolek Miazga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Kazanowski in the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Kazanowski in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolek Miazga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Perła Lublin's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Kazanowski came free, but Tolek Miazga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Kazanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tolek Miazga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldemar Murdza's late challenge caught a Spójnia Zielona Góra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
