Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ponin's Pawel Sidorowicz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes Ponin got a freekick which was hit by Emil Oborski. Ponin's Izydor Olejniczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Jaktorowo in the 11th minute of play. Izydor Olejniczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Wieczorek, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ponin's supporters rose to their feet, but Pawel Sidorowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boguslaw Teofila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakub Wieczorek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pawel Sidorowicz in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boguslaw Teofila saved Szczekaików from getting behind. Teofil Jaktorowo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Izydor Olejniczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piotr Rasialdo charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Piotr Rasialdo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Szczekaików got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Rasialdo. After having played for 97 minutes, Igor Mojsiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Mojsiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
