Robert Domeracki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Patryk Markowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patryk Markowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szymon Kostka kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in LEGIA WARSZAWA's zone, Benedykt Biegun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stasio Kissel came out of the goal and Benedykt Biegun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Zbyszek Kajdasz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LEGIA WARSZAWA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbyszek Kajdasz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LEGIA WARSZAWA's Stasio Kissel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Biegun in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Benedykt Biegun made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by LEGIA WARSZAWA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After a rather tough play, LEGIA WARSZAWA's Eugeniusz Mazierski got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by LEGIA WARSZAWA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Real Madryt's Filip Majusiak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stasio Kissel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benedykt Biegun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LEGIA WARSZAWA were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Real Madryt's much stronger midfield.
