Igor Ligas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radomir Kiepski came free in the 24th minute and tried to tip the ball over Jakub Okropny, but to the joy of Budziarze SA's supporters the ball went over. Budziarze SA's Igor Ligas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Budziarze SA's zone, Radomir Kiepski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakub Okropny came out of the goal and Radomir Kiepski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Igor Ligas came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Budziarze SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Ligas couldn't finish the play. GROMS RZESZÓW's Zdzislaw Logewnik got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was beautiful to see GROMS RZESZÓW's Radomir Kiepski in action when he in the 39th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Benedykt Wierzbicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Ligas in the 42nd minute of the match. If Radomir Kiepski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Posadzki to make the kick off. Budziarze SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Ligas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
