The audience held their breath when Kryspin Ratulowski in the 10th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Edmund Jazwiec's left hand side. In the 15th minute Antoni Janiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Kowalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pawel Maziarski came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Chwirama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pawel Maziarski couldn't finish the play. Witomir Kowalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Maziarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witomir Kowalski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chwirama fully deserved thier win.
