Spectators: 7331 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) FC Manchester Red's Roch Drab started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hieronim Roman in the 8th minute of play forced FC Manchester Red's goalkeeper Jurand Zbydniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 10 in the game by Konrad Jestrimski from a close distance when the talented Jurand Zbydniewski managed to make a qualified save. FC Manchester Red's players were relieved. Jaroslaw Liermann hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Skiby's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Sroka came free, but Tomasz Burdzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roch Drab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tomasz Burdzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Olaf Sroka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Zenon Gejda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Manchester Red's Czeslaw Jarek got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Krzysztof Smolarek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jurand Zbydniewski. FC Manchester Red's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Roch Drab who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skiby's Tomasz Burdzel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hieronim Roman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurand Zbydniewski having to interfere. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Roch Drab sped through Skiby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomasz Burdzel. After 47 played minutes FC Manchester Red got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Jarek. With a little luck, FC Manchester Red's Jurand Zbydniewski got control of the ball when Konrad Jestrimski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half FC Manchester Red were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Olaf Sroka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomasz Burdzel made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Olaf Sroka sent off a good shot on target. Jurand Zbydniewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Roman, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdzislaw Tyski during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Skiby booed when FC Manchester Red was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Tyski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jurand Zbydniewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konrad Jestrimski's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Olaf Sroka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Tomasz Burdzel made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, FC Manchester Red's goal looked a bit too open when Hieronim Roman came free, but Jurand Zbydniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zenon Gejda during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zenon Gejda hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Krzysztof Smolarek was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, Olaf Sroka fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 96th minute, Czeslaw Jarek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Manchester Red played a much better game than Skiby and deserved their victory. The Skiby players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
