Emil Winnicki charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Winnicki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Karłowaci Nadludzie booed when Zorndorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Winnicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iwan Wyrzykowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Janusz Zywiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iwan Wyrzykowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janusz Zywiec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Winnicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stefan Owsiak kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The long shot by Mieszko Seliga in the 54th minute really tested Sebastian Brack's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Waldemar Czajkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Brack having to interfere. If Jerzy Hejza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janusz Zywiec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Winnicki's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Iwan Wyrzykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
