In the 3rd minute, Czeslaw Czysty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edward Ruszczyk during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edward Ruszczyk hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Stefan Prusek kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Herbert Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Wodaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Brudzisz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogumil Maurycy went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kujawianka Strzelno Piast's Marek Wielowiejski suffered a sprained foot after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ignacy Wincek fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Banino's protests and gave Ignacy Wincek a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KS Banino getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ignacy Wincek hit a great ball. KS Banino's Borys Brak got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 minutes, Wit Zyskowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Banino and the Kujawianka Strzelno Piast players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kujawianka Strzelno Piast booed when KS Banino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wit Zyskowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Borys Brak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Klement Tarka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ignacy Wincek managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Banino's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacy Wincek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klement Tarka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Kujawianka Strzelno Piast's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Brak came free, but Klement Tarka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klement Tarka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacy Wincek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Borys Brak came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the KS Banino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Brak couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Ignacy Wincek made a precise shot to the right of Klement Tarka. Kujawianka Strzelno Piast's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Borys Brak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Borys Brak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klement Tarka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 95th minute of the match Edward Ruszczyk completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edward Ruszczyk a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 96th minute, Edward Ruszczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KS Banino's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
