Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stal Rzeszów's Zenon Barys started the match with a crisp pass. The supporters of Stal Rzeszów booed when Valencia CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Pruss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Marchewka hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Zenon Barys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stal Rzeszów's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenon Barys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Wolniewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Skarpiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariasz Siekierski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Zachariasz Siekierski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Skarpiak was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Zenon Barys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zachariasz Siekierski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Skarpiak having to interfere. Adam Bendyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Julian Skarpiak made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Adam Bendyk sent off a good shot on target. Leonard Pilarski kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Artur Haskiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stal Rzeszów's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Haskiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
