Zula Skoroda had great luck who in the 23rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Zachariasz Siekierski from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jan Wolniewicz came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal's Zygmunt Tyski. But to his dismay, Zygmunt Tyski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tadeusz Kornasiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jan Wolniewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Arsenal getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Zbyszek Dankowski hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeusz Kornasiewicz in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Wolniewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arsenal's Zygmunt Tyski got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zygmunt Tyski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Wolniewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeusz Kornasiewicz went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Adam Bendyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Zula Skoroda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeusz Kornasiewicz was the one to do the kick off. When Zachariasz Siekierski came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Valencia CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachariasz Siekierski couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walery Kapera during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walery Kapera to maneuver through the defense. Zula Skoroda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachariasz Siekierski in the 59th minute of the match. Arsenal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeusz Kornasiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zula Skoroda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Pruss, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Zygmunt Tyski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Wolniewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arsenal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
