Piotr Fujarczuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Napoleon Maruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zbyszko Moizuk during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Włókniarz Częstochowa booed when Kurzno SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Moizuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Ziomkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Ziomkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kurzno SA's Artur Ziomkowski got a free kick in the 28th minute. Piotr Fujarczuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. After 36 minutes of play Kurzno SA's Zbyszko Moizuk was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 44th minute, Wlodzimierz Lewandowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Włókniarz Częstochowa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ulryk Winnicki in the 53rd minute. Ulryk Winnicki made a great header on Włókniarz Częstochowa's corner, it was just that Kurzno SA's Napoleon Maruda managed to reach the ball for a save. Walery Michnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Napoleon Maruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Michnik in the 72nd minute of play forced Kurzno SA's goalkeeper Napoleon Maruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Walery Michnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Włókniarz Częstochowa's Tomasz Ligas got a free kick in the 88th minute. Jurand Japola kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Piotr Fujarczuk came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Włókniarz Częstochowa fans jumped to their feet.
