The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Porto's Emil Zbydniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Karanowski in the 11th minute of play. Marek Karanowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Zbydniewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marek Karanowski ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Karanowski in the 12th minute of play forced FC Porto's goalkeeper Emil Zbydniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marek Karanowski fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C Traktor's protests and gave Marek Karanowski a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes F.C Traktor got a freekick which was hit by Marek Karanowski. Wawrzyniec Awizo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Maksymilian Skonieczny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The F.C Traktor fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when F.C Traktor's Marek Karanowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wawrzyniec Awizo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksymilian Skonieczny having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, FC Porto's Emil Charlap sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maksymilian Skonieczny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wawrzyniec Awizo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maksymilian Skonieczny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Roch Madej hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes F.C Traktor got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Babicki. Bogdan Hodas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Wawrzyniec Awizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes, Dawid Babicki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C Traktor and the FC Porto players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Porto booed when F.C Traktor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Babicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Wawrzyniec Awizo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Porto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wawrzyniec Awizo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, FC Porto's Wawrzyniec Awizo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maksymilian Skonieczny. Maksymilian Skonieczny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Wojciech Mnich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C Traktor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wojciech Mnich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Wojciech Mnich came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the F.C Traktor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wojciech Mnich couldn't finish the play. If Wojciech Mnich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wojciech Mnich got free with Emil Zbydniewski in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Emil Charlap got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wawrzyniec Awizo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wojciech Mnich's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Emil Zbydniewski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Awizo in the 65th minute of play forced F.C Traktor's goalkeeper Maksymilian Skonieczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Zbydniewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wojciech Mnich in the 69th minute. F.C Traktor's Wojciech Mnich got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Radomil Dzierwa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Porto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Traktor the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Porto's Radomil Dzierwa got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Wojciech Mnich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C Traktor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Wojciech Mnich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marek Karanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Zbydniewski having to interfere. Emil Zbydniewski made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Wojciech Mnich sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over F.C Traktor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Porto throughout the match.
